GUEST SPEAKER: Carolyn Howard
Carolyn Howard is a senior clinical psychologist with over 15 years’ experience in working with cancer patients and their families. Carolyn uses cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help patients deal with the following common issues relating to cancer: adjustment issues, anxiety and fear, depression, managing treatment side effects, post treatment adjustment and cancer survival issues and the impact of cancer on relationships.
