GUEST SPEAKER: Prof STEPHEN CLARKE
Awarded an OAM I the Australia Day Honours 2012 for service to medicine in the disciplines of oncology and pharmacology.
Professor Stephen Clarke is a medical oncologist and pharmacologist with major clinical research interest in pharmacology, and gastrointestinal cancers. Prof Clarke is currently a medical oncologist at the Northern Cancer Institute, Director of Cancer Services at Royal North Shore Hospital and Professor of Medicine at the University of Sydney has been Professor and Head of the Academic Department of Medicine at the Concord Hospital Clinical School of the University of Sydney. Prof Clarke completed an FRACP in Medical Oncology at Royal North Shore Hospital and then a PhD from the University of London at the Institute of Cancer Research / Royal Marsden Cancer Hospital. Professor Clarke returned from the UK in 1994
