5th June 2014 – Nutritional issues faced by people with oesophageal and stomach cancers
GUEST SPEAKER: Sharon Carey – Accredited dietician, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital
Sharon will broadly discuss issues surrounding the difficulties people have with food and oesophageal and stomach cancer while on various treatment and beyond. Difficulties include lack of appetite, feeling of fullness, difficulty with putting weight on, change in taste and smell, lack of energy, lactose intolerance and dumping syndrome. There will also be an opportunity to ask her questions
